About Reinert:
Founded in 1925, Reinert specializes in sales and distribution in the automotive, industrial and security sectors. Reinert Sarl also has a service for the control, assembly, maintenance and repair of all types of machines related to these activities as well as a fire extinguisher control and retest service.
Located in Leudelange in a building of over 4000m2, Reinert also has a showroom where it is possible to make purchases directly.

What is your role at Reinert?
I have already been with Reinert for more than 10 years, and my career has evolved from a Buyer until reaching this position of Operational Director today.
The objective of my function is to satisfy customers and to ensure that operationally everything works in the best possible way. On the one hand, I have to make sure that the people under my responsibility can do their job very well, and that on the customer side, they are satisfied.
This results in more orders coming in and allows you to have a joy of living within the company, with good communication between customer and supplier in the end.
What types of profiles are you looking for?
In some teams, we need people who are very versatile, especially in terms of soft skills. These are profiles who are able to adapt to situations they may not be used to. We need them to achieve the same goal: the satisfaction of our customers.
We are looking for people who are very versatile, who can manage the stress of certain actions well, while mastering the internal organization. This makes it possible to ensure the entire process, from the reception of the goods to the delivery of customers.
For us, it is very important to maintain a normal pace of productivity, without creating additional stress. Our final objective remains to continue to make progress in order to improve customer satisfaction in the end.
How does a century-old company like Reinert still manage to evolve?
We are celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2025. This age is rare for a Luxembourg company. In a century we have gone through several crises and we have gone through good times and bad.
But we are still here and we want to be there for a long time! We have a new management that is young and dynamic (Editor's note: Laurent de Volder joined the management team in early 2023), which brings new freshness to a society that may be old but has regained its breath again to look to the future.
Managing stress and unexpected events is essential at Reinert. What initiatives have you put in place for the well-being of employees?
We offer our employees flexible hours. They can thus benefit from a work/life balance and say to themselves:”OK, I work my hours but at specific times that will cause me less stress in terms of traffic jams, less stress to get home.”.
This initiative creates a good atmosphere in our society, and that is very important for me. My role at Reinert involves working with almost everyone, which means that I want all employees to be happy and to return home happy to work in a company that is modern, reliable and long-lasting.
