Our client, an innovative industrial technology company based in Luxembourg and active in the development of advanced lightweight solutions for demanding applications, is looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer.

You will play a key role in the design and development of high-performance lightweight components, dedicated tooling and mechanical solutions for advanced industrial applications, including the space and aerospace sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

· Develop dedicated tooling, fixtures and specific equipment supporting advanced manufacturing processes.

· Contribute to the development, optimisation and continuous improvement of innovative production technologies and processes.

· Analyse technical requirements and translate customer specifications into robust, innovative and industrially feasible engineering solutions.

· Perform or support mechanical and structural calculations, simulations and technical validations.

· Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documentation, 3D models, drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

· Work closely with internal engineering, production and project teams to ensure design feasibility and successful industrial implementation.

· Participate in technical problem-solving and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering methodologies and processes.

Your Profile

· Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a related technical discipline.

· At least 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, product development or advanced industrial engineering.

· Strong expertise in the design and development of composite structures, lightweight components and/or complex mechanical equipment.

· Solid understanding of mechanical and structural calculations, material behaviour and conventional manufacturing processes.

· Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS; experience with SOLIDWORKS PDM would be an advantage.

· Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or VBA is considered a plus.

· Experience in the space, aerospace, defence or other high-performance industrial sectors would be highly appreciated.

· Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French and/or German would be an advantage.

· Autonomous, rigorous and well organised, with a strong hands-on approach.

· Creative and innovative problem-solver with excellent analytical skills.
