Internship and Thesis in the Project Management Office (m/f/n)
Topic : Feasibility Study and Requirements Specification for Selecting a Project and Portfolio Management Tool
The objective is to conduct a feasibility study for the introduction of a suitable PPM tool. A complete requirements specification will be prepared on the basis of a systematic requirements analysis. Building on this work, the student will develop a transparent approach for screening the market and evaluating potential solutions and, if the available timeframe permits, apply parts of the approach in practice.
Your tasks

- Prepare a formally structured and print-ready requirements specification as a Word and PDF document and, if required, as a printed version
Market Analysis and Selection Concept
- Research suitable tool categories and suppliers without anticipating the later procurement decision
- Develop a weighted evaluation model based on the prioritised requirements
- Design a transparent selection process, including roles, decision stages, supplier demonstrations and a potential proof of concept
- Prepare a longlist or shortlist and, if organisationally possible, support the practical evaluation
Assessment and Recommendation
