📍 Home-office based position (DACH region)
The role is fully home-office based, with regular travel across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to support customers and business development activities.
💼 Your mission: drive business growth across the DACH region
As Business Development Manager DACH, you play a strategic leadership role in developing business opportunities and strengthening market presence across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
You will combine business development, customer relationship management, and market strategy to drive sustainable growth and expand market share.
Key responsibilities
Business development & market expansion
Develop new customers, distributors, and market opportunities across the DACH region
Identify and promote new products and solutions
Expand the company’s market presence through proactive prospecting and networking
Customer relationship management
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with existing customers
Develop relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers
Provide strong commercial and technical support to customers and partners
Sales strategy & performance
Oversee day-to-day sales operations within the region
Monitor sales KPIs and propose action plans to achieve objectives
Analyze market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
Advise management on strategic market developments
Commercial activities & market visibility
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and commercial events
Support and develop sales initiatives and marketing actions
Maintain and strengthen a network of installers and partners
Reporting & coordination
Produce regular commercial activity reports
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient sales execution
Coordinate with international stakeholders to support business growth
🛠 Required experience & technical skills
University degree in Commercial Engineering or equivalent experience
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand mechanical and fluid-based technologies
Proven experience in the fire suppression industry
Proven experience in technical sales, marketing, and business development
Experience working in international and multicultural environments
Strong customer relationship and account management experience
Proven experience in business development within the DACH region
Fluency in German and English (French is a plus)
Willingness to travel regularly across the DACH region
