Business and Economics Teacher

Permanent role, Full time

Required for August 2026

 

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an outstanding Economics and Business Studies teacher to join our Secondary Team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching GCSE and A Level Economics and Business Studies to our students up to Year 13. Experience in teaching BTEC Business is highly desirable, particularly at Level 3. We are looking for someone who is passionate about international education, creative in their thinking, and committed to continuous learning. The successful candidate will be adaptable, motivated by challenges, and an excellent classroom practitioner.


 We are looking for certain qualities:

·      A relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject

·      A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent)

·      Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational practices

·      Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

·      Have relevant experience as a teacher of Economics and Business Studies in a UK or international school following the Cambridge International Curriculum

·      Ability to contribute to the development of enterprise or financial literacy programmes

·      Willingness to contribute to wider school initiatives and extra-curricular life

·      Desirable, but not essential, be an EU passport holder or already be in possession of permit that allows work and residence in Luxembourg
