What will you do?

Being part of the team, you will be an active member of our recognized national and international tax team and you will have the opportunity to work on all kinds of Tax Regulatory matters (e.g. Qualified Intermediary regime, FATCA, CRS).


In your role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build client relationships by conducting research for clients, responding to client Tax Regulatory queries;

  • Gain a strong understanding of the financial sector by working on client assignments;

  • Perform FATCA and CRS classification analysis and related memoranda;

  • Perform Due Diligence reviews of account holders’ files based on FATCA and CRS laws;

  • Prepare, review and submit QI tax reporting and other automatic exchange of information reports to the tax authorities (e.g. U.S. and Luxembourg tax authorities);

  • Participate in periodic reviews on various Tax Regulatory topics as a member of the audit team;

  • Be part of all aspects of Tax Regulatory projects;

  • Work with BDO’s local offices across the world to assist our clients on foreign legislation issues;

  • Work within a dynamic team of experienced consultants.

 

This position is for you if:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in business administration, economics or law;

  • Ideally, you possess 3 years of experience in the financial sector or in an advisory/consulting firm;

  • You are interested in working in an international tax environment, specifically providing services to the banking / financial services sectors;

  • You are enthusiastic about developing your expertise in the field of Tax Regulatory services, a sector in development (e.g. QI, FATCA, CRS, Tax Reclaim) and/or KYC AML rules with tax-related flavor;

  • You distinguish yourself in terms of your organizational skills, your flexibility, your team spirit and your attention to detail;

  • You enjoy learning by doing;

  • You like challenges and are able to work under pressure;

  • You are a business partnership oriented person;

  • You possess good knowledge of MS Office;

  • You are fluent in English (French would be an advantage);

  • You are ready to travel internationally if needed.
