IT Operations - Support technician

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and people-oriented IT Support professional to join our IT department at Luxembourg Airport. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring a smooth and reliable IT experience for our users, supporting both on-site and remote teams in a dynamic environment. This position offers the opportunity to grow your technical skills while contributing directly to the efficiency of a business where technology is critical to daily operations.

We operate a fleet of 72 Pilatus aircraft (PC-12 and PC-24), along with the Cirrus SF50, combining Swiss precision and exceptional service to deliver a refined private flying experience,  exclusively for over 500 co-owners across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for users
  • Address and resolve support tickets efficiently and effectively
  • Qualify unresolved issues and act as a liaison with IT service providers and other departments
  • Hardware setup (laptops, phones…)
  • Manage onboarding processes, including hardware and software setup
  • Manage and maintain the IT assets inventory and restocking
  • Provide dedicated support to pilots and remote employees, including those at different sites
  • Operational management of our corporate applications
  • Maintain a knowledge base of technical documentation and support procedures
  • Train users on new technologies and IT policies
  • Follow ITIL standards
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve service quality

Profile:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • First solid proven experience in an equivalent position is required.
  • Must be fluent in both English and French; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, networks, and business applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft on-prem and cloud administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of end-user’s devices operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical challenges.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with clear and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in the IT field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies and hardware.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
