Fund Accountant Oversight PE/RE

This role focuses on the oversight of alternative investment funds, offering exposure to Private Equity, Real Estate, and other alternative strategies. You will work in a dynamic, international environment, ensuring high standards of fund accounting, reporting, and risk management.

Description

1. Oversee fund accounting processes for alternative funds, including Private Equity, Real Estate, and other alternative strategies.
2. Monitor NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations.
3. Review fund financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
4. Coordinate with external administrators, auditors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality reporting and control.
5. Identify, analyze, and escalate operational or accounting risks related to alternative funds.
6. Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical projects for senior management.

Your profile

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
2. 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in alternative investments (Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Funds).
3. Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and alternative fund structures.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
5. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
6. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a multicultural team.
