Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

•  Leadership for the ME team in Finishing area

•  Implementation and integration of relevant ME technologies in series production according to mandatory process standards 

•  Alignment of line layouts (including layout change) in line with standards.

•  Defining and updating work instructions, routings and standard times for series and development projects (Launch) and monitoring accuracy

•  Analysis and review of process-relevant KPIs and identification and implementation of improvements (e.g. line balancing, utilization) 

•  Preparation and support of audits and release of new equipment and standards

•  Preparation of investment feasibility analysis report for approval and technical specifications for supplier selection

•  Manage continuous improvement activities

Here’s what you can bring to the team:

•  Manufacturing Engineering degree or a related field (Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering).

•  High knowledge in common automotive ME processes and technologies

•  High knowledge in specific technology (e.g. screwing, dispensing, transport, MES, PLC/HMI, EOL, PU, Gluing)

•  Experience in lean management, CAD, quality tools and relevant company and customer specifications

•  Technical understanding of machine parts and drawings

•  Experience in project management

•  Experience in troubleshooting

•  First experience in leading people

•  Business fluent English is mandatory, French / German is a plus
