Tax Compliance Manager F/M - Sustainable Investments

As a Tax Compliance Manager, you will report to the Head of Tax and play a critical role in ensuring strong tax governance across multiple jurisdictions, including Luxembourg, the US, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. You will collaborate with various teams, driving efficient tax compliance processes while contributing to global investment strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage tax compliance for Luxembourg Funds, SARLs, and global SPVs.
  • Prepare Corporate Income Tax and Fund-related tax returns for Luxembourg SARLs.
  • Develop and implement data-driven systems for efficient tax compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Support the Head of Tax onboarding new transactions, reviewing tax memos, transfer pricing reports, and legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with withholding tax (WHT) obligations and engage in tax structuring matters.
  • Provide tax-related guidance to the finance and asset management teams.
  • Contribute to group-wide transformation projects and provide ad hoc tax support.

 

  • Your profileMaster's degree in accounting, Economics, or Law.
  • 7+ years of experience in Tax Compliance in a Big Four, asset management firm or international company in Luxembourg.
  • Advanced knowledge of Luxembourg Direct Tax with some understanding of indirect tax.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in transactional aspects of tax compliance.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to contribute to a growing firm.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
