Senior Business Developer (F/M) – AIF Depositary - LU873790

As Senior Business Developer (F/M), you will develop and manage a portfolio of Asset Manager clients for the AIF Depositary activity, through active prospecting, strategic relationship building and promotion of the bank’s value proposition within the alternative investment ecosystem.

Key responsibilities :

• Source, engage and convert new Asset Manager clients for the AIF Depositary business.
• Identify, negotiate and execute commercial opportunities while maximising cross-selling across banking products.
• Promote the AIF Depositary offering internally and externally through events and industry engagement.
• Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as AIFMs, fund administrators, law firms and Big Four firms.
• Drive portfolio growth in terms of new clients, assets under depositary and account openings.
• Act as a first line of defence by integrating strong risk awareness into all commercial activities.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Business Development and Investment Banking teams to position the bank’s full value proposition.
• Prepare tailored and innovative commercial proposals for alternative investment fund clients.

Experience & Profile required :

• Master’s degree in finance, business administration, audit or law.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the banking or investment fund industry.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages are an asset.
• Strong understanding of banking structures, operational workflows and risk management processes.
• Deep knowledge of financial products and services (cash/treasury, securities, financing, capital markets).
• Solid grasp of AIFMD regulation and the legal/regulatory framework for depositary services.
• Familiarity with alternative asset classes (Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, Infrastructure).
• Understanding of the key drivers and dynamics of the European fund industry.
