Secondary Science Teacher

The Secondary School is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an:

Science Teacher

Temporary role for 1 year, full time

Required for 24 August 2026

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an outstanding Science Teacher with a specialism in Biology to join our Secondary Team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching Biology and general Science to students up to Year 13. Experience in teaching related scientific disciplines such as Chemistry or Physics would be an asset. We are looking for someone who is passionate about international education, innovative in their approach, and committed to fostering a love of science and inquiry. The successful candidate will also be adaptable, motivated by challenges and an excellent classroom practitioner.


We are looking for certain qualities:

· A relevant degree in Biology or a closely related scientific discipline

· A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent)

· Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational practices in

Science and Biology

· Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

· Relevant experience as a teacher of Science in a UK or International School, ideally

following the Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum and the National Curriculum of England from KS3 to A Levels

· A willingness to contribute to wider school initiatives and the extra-curricular life

of the school, including science clubs, field trips and STEM related events
