About the Role
As a teacher in our school, you will play a key role in shaping not only what our students learn, but how they learn. You’ll design engaging, concept-driven lessons that invite curiosity, encourage reflection, and challenge students to connect learning to their own lives — locally and globally.

● Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families, grounded in trust and mutual respect.
● Take part in the vibrant life of the school — from parent evenings to community events to leading beyond-the-classroom activities.
● Engage in professional growth and bring fresh ideas into the classroom.
Teachers in the Upper School will be expected to take part in the advisory programme, including comprehensive sexual education.

Profile: (training, experience, skills and aptitudes necessary to do the job)
● At least two years of successful MYP General Science teaching experience (Students from grades 6 to 10). Potential to teach the DP programme is an advantage.
● Recent successful teaching experience preferably in an International School setting.
● Ability to teach Physics would be strongly preferred.
● Confident, experienced and passionate about inquiry, concept-based learning and project-based learning.
● Proven experience working in a collaborative teaching environment, providing strategies and scaffolding to diverse learners to access curriculum.
● Demonstrated understanding of recent developments in pedagogical best practice in Science.
● Actively engaged in the wellbeing of students with a commitment to being an advisor.
● Current teaching certificate or equivalent (required).
● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (MA preferred).
● Fluency in English (near native level);
● Familiarity and fluency with technology supported learning.
● Technologically competent.
● Demonstrate an understanding of integrating technology into the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
● Experience with utilizing and managing Learning Management Systems for course organization, content delivery, and student engagement.
● Understanding of and experience with teaching students who are English Language Learners.
