You will provide general business and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the department's legal activities
You assist the lawyers in their daily work through a variety of tasks, including preparing legal documentation and correspondence and performing light legal research
You are involved in corporate housekeeping (preparing agendas and legal documents, archiving corporate housekeeping documentation, etc;)
You work closely with other departments and stakeholders on legal documents and processes
You participate in the development, implementation and management of the legal database and file sharing system
You are responsible for the agenda management of the lawyers, including planning and coordinating on-site and off-site meetings, booking meeting rooms, teleconferences, preparing agendas, preparing materials, etc.
You organize and coordinate business travel, including preparing all required documentation in connection with it
You are responsible for coordinating and handling invoices from law firms and others.
Your profile
You have a Bachelor of Law Practice or a Bachelor of Office Management with relevant legal administrative experience
Ideally you have 3 to 5 years of work experience in a law firm or legal department; in any case with a particular focus on and care for legal deadlines and formalities; experience in an international and complex environment is a great asset
You express yourself fluently, in writing and orally, in French and English. Knowledge of another language is a plus
You thrive in a dynamic environment and are a multitasker. You have an exceptional ability to manage time and deal with multiple tasks and priorities
You are known for responding quickly and appropriately in a variety of situations.
You provide information advice and guidance in a professional, timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all responses are accurate
You have attention to detail
You have an excellent command of business software packages - Microsoft Office products, email and internet
You have an entrepreneurial spirit. You can work independently but appreciate teamwork.
