Junior Legal Counsel & Data protection correspondent - Luxembourg

Votre mission :

The Junior Legal Counsel & DPC will assist the Senior Legal Counsel with the management of the local legal agenda and mitigating legal risks of the entity.

Responsabilities :

1. Any legal matters (except tax law) such as contract and civil law, competition law, corporate law, corporate governance, IPR, labour law, etc.
2. Implementation and maintenance of the data protection rules and group guidelines with the different lines of work of the company, as well as the group reporting.
3. Be a point of contact for all questions related to data protection from all the company’s department.
4. Legal advisory for all the departments of the entity.
5. Review and drafting of all relevant legal documents and legal matters of the entity.
6. Close cooperation and active collaboration with relevant stakeholders such as internal customers, external suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
7. Draft, and implementation of (amendments to) documentation related to procurement agreements, mainly related to the purchase of vehicles and other products being installed or consumed by vehicles.
8. Implement and control the data protection rules and group guidelines with the different lines of work of the company, as well as liaising with the group’s data protection central services.
9. Provide assistance to the company’s departments with any need they might have regarding data privacy/personal data protection.

Requirements :

1. Academic degree in legal studies, ideally specialized in commercial and company law.
2. Post Graduate Education helpful (International law, Contract law, Regulatory law, Data Privacy, Compliance, etc.).
3. At least 2 years of experience in an inhouse legal position or law firm with international business background.
4. Experienced in working in an international environment incl. navigating a matrix setup.
5. Analytical, structured and concise.
6. Fluency in French and English.
