Consultant Expert Murex
Your Day-to-Day
- Contribute to the support, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Murex financial system within the financial applications team.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and Risk Management teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Murex modules, with strong involvement in Front Office, Reporting, and Onyx/MxTest components.
- Lead and execute non-regression test campaigns using MxTest to ensure solution quality and system stability.
- Design and maintain financial reports including DataMart, P&L, Market Value, and Risk figures.
- Manage dynamic tables, simulation views, and trade queries for data analysis and reporting.
- Oversee the full trade life cycle and ensure proper integration of financial instruments within the system.
- Produce clear documentation of business requirements, technical configurations, and implemented solutions.
Your Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with the Murex financial system within a banking or financial institution.
- Strong functional knowledge of:
- Fixed Income
- Money Markets
- Interest Rate Swaps
- Cross Currency Swaps
- FX Derivatives
- Proven expertise in:
- Front Office module – configuration, simulation, and trade life cycle
- Reporting / DataMart – design and optimization
- Onyx / MxTest – implementation and test management
- Good understanding of front-to-back processes and interaction between business and technical teams.
- Highly reliable, accurate, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and autonomous, able to deliver within deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
