To support our continued growth in Luxembourg, we are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Controller to join our Finance team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise in controlling, financial analysis and reporting while working in an international environment.

Your Mission

As part of the Controlling & Reporting team, you will contribute to the monitoring of business performance, financial reporting and budgeting activities.

Working closely with Finance and operational departments, you will provide reliable analyses and support decision-making through accurate reporting and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Controlling and Performance Analysis

• Monitor business performance and key financial indicators.

• Analyse variances between actual results, budgets and forecasts.

• Support profitability analyses and performance monitoring.

• Prepare recommendations and reporting for management.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Support and coordinate the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.

• Prepare financial analyses and participate in business case evaluations.

• Analyze variances between actual results, budgets and forecasts.

• Identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions to ensure financial targets are achieved.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Participate in the annual budgeting process.

• Support forecasting exercises throughout the year.

• Prepare financial analyses and business cases.

• Assist in identifying risks and opportunities impacting financial performance.

Reporting & Closing Activities

• Contribute to monthly closing activities from a controlling perspective.

• Prepare regular management reports and dashboards.

• Analyse P&L developments and business performance trends.

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of financial reporting.

Projects & Process Improvement

• Participate in cross-functional projects.

• Contribute to the enhancement of reporting tools and processes.

• Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist in the development of Business Intelligence reporting solutions.

Compliance & Internal Control

• Follow internal policies and financial procedures.

• Support audit requests and reporting requirements.

• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Operations and other internal stakeholders.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in Business Controlling, FP&A.

• Experience within automotive, leasing, banking or financial services will be considered an advatange.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP or equivalent.

• Knowledge of Power BI, Qlik Sense, QlikView or similar BI tools is appreciated.

• Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.

Languages

• Fluent French and English are mandatory.

• Any additional European language is considered an asset

Important Application Criteria

• Only candidates with the required level of experience and the mandatory language skills will be considered.

• Applicants must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Business Controlling.

• Fluent English and fluent French, both written and spoken, are required for this role.
