Business Continuity Manager
Business Continuity Manager (m/f/n)
To strengthen its teams, the Corporate IT & Enterprise Architecture Department of POST Luxembourg is currently looking for a full-time position as a Business Continuity Manager (m/f/n).
Your missions
- Develop and maintain a business recovery plan and procedure (review, revise, and expand existing plans and protocols).
- Conduct risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims, and market disruptions.
- Identify and collaborate with IT staff to develop and implement recovery operations and methods.
- Evaluate the operational risks that might occur due to system failure or human error, leading to the disruption of business processes.
- Recognize potential threats to operational efficiency and financial stability of the organization.
- Develop risk management plans and create strategies to minimize and mitigate risks related to resilience issues, managing project progress to ensure effective implementation.
- Contribute to the documentation and planning of internal and external audit findings together with Management and IT staff, ensuring regular audit reporting.
- Support the Operational Security Manager on ISO27001 controls and cybersecurity activities.
- Take charge of any other requests made by management considering the professional and personal skills of the employee.
Your profile
- Master’s Degree (Bac + 5) in Computer Science with significant experience in designing, building, and implementing business continuity management systems combined with experience in crisis management.
- Have a good understanding of Business Continuity Management Systems and related standards (ISO 22301).
- Possess an analytical and critical mindset.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Be recognized for organizational skills and your analytical mindset.
- Be customer and solution-driven with a proactive mindset.
- Be resilient and able to remain calm during crisis situations.
- Be fluent in English and French; other European languages will be a strong advantage.
