The team’s mission is to empower employees with reliable technology, drive innovation through targeted automation, and secure digital operations. This function focuses on mentoring IT professionals, optimizing processes, and enhancing efficiency to align with SLG’s vision.

About Your Role

This position is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a technical leader with a strong background in IT infrastructure, network reliability, and cybersecurity. You will oversee core operational domains such as system security, connectivity, compliance, asset management, end-user support, and mobile device management. While project management is part of the role, the emphasis is on guiding and optimizing day-to-day digital operations to ensure service continuity. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, the Chief Technology Officer, and the Head of Digital Transformation to maintain a robust technology environment that supports both current needs and future innovation.

About Your Responsibilities

You will lead a team of six professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and efficient service delivery. This includes safeguarding network security, overseeing IT policies and compliance, and ensuring responsive helpdesk support for end users. You will drive initiatives to automate internal processes—improving areas like onboarding and IT asset management—so that manual tasks are minimized and your team can focus on higher-value work. Close collaboration with other digital functions will be key to aligning operational efforts with the broader strategy while maintaining a strong focus on reliability, security, and continuous improvement.

You excel at translating technical challenges into practical solutions and have demonstrated success in building and guiding high-performing teams. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset will enable you to align technical initiatives with evolving business needs, ensuring that SLG’s Digital Operations remain both stable and forward-looking.

Success in This Role

Within 6-12 months, the Head of Digital Operations will have streamlined service delivery and reduced manual workloads through targeted internal automation, fortified the security and reliability of the IT environment, and established a high-functioning team culture that supports the organization’s strategic objectives.
