Functional Analyst

What would be your mission?

As a Functional Analyst you will be responsible for identifying functional and business requirements, validating and justifying business needs, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models, defining and modeling alternative options, developing concepts and preparing business cases. You will also be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of solutions to ensure that functional requirements and design are met.

What would be your tasks?

• Study the impact of changes in the Investment Funds Services IT landscape
• Provide analysis within set deadlines and budget for one of client’s projects, analyzing existing services and designing future features, related to Investment Funds such as Order routing, Settlement, Trailer fees, Corporate Actions, Custody, Fund Transfer, Regulatory Reporting, and Billing
• Find, elicit, and write business and functional requirements
• Present results to both Business and IT teams of IFS (development and architecture)

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a computer-based discipline or in a business school
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business and functional analysis
• Experience in Banking/Financial sector
• Strong knowledge of requirements in engineering and modelling tools. UML is required
• Strong knowledge of test lifecycle and proven experience in test execution
• Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment
• Good team player with excellent communications skills
• Excellent written and spoken English. French or German would be a plus

An asset:

• Experience with Agile Methodology
• Jira Dashboard is a plus
• Business Analyst certification is a plus
