Trainee – Structured Products & Securities Services
The Financial Engineering and Structured Products Department (FES) is providing solutions to the Issuers of Medium Term Notes (MTN). The department supports Issuers for the listing, depositary, calculation agent & settlement functions during the entire lifecycle of the structured products.
In order to support our team with its ongoing process reorganization, we are looking for a trainee with a school/university convention for a period of 6 months.
Your main tasks will be to:
Understand and perform day to day tasks such as:
Input and control trade details are set up accurately in systems
Monitor accurate and timely processing of transaction instructions from clients and counterparties
Perform cash flow re-fixing according to schedules and documentation
Assimilate daily process in place in the department
Review control process flows in place within the department
Propose solutions and draft BRD in view to improve current processes and/or implement systems to strengthen controls and smoothen processes
Job requirements:
Preparation of a University degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics or equivalent – School/University convention required;
Strong process analytical skills (Agile, Scrum…)
Strong programming capacity (VBA or any other development language app useable to automate/implement APIs)
Good command of Excel ( VBA / Python is an asset)
Excellent level of English (French is an advantage)
Ability to perform diversified tasks and communicate with highest accuracy
Attention to details & team spirit
Flexibility to adapt to an international and multicultural office environment
