Convention-based Internship - Asset & Liability Management (m/f/n)

Spuerkeess is actively seeking a student in the field of Asset & Liability Management for a convention-based internship of at least 3 months starting from April 2026!


Your missions:

  1. Appropriation and Audit of the existing: Understand the data flows as well as the current risk indicators of the various existing models (regulatory ratios, run-off models...etc).
  2. Automation and Optimization: Redesign the production process of various reports to make them more robust and agile (migration to more suitable technologies, reduction of manual processing under Excel).
  3. Modeling & Redesign of Steering Indicators: Critique the relevance of current KPIs and propose new ones to better reflect risk-adjusted profitability.
  4. Develop and test sensitivity models of production to rate variations (Stress tests) by taking into account external and/or internal data. You will be free to use the modeling approaches that you deem most efficient.
  5. Put in place forecast indicators for new productions. Data Visualization: Develop an interactive dashboard allowing ALM managers and Management to follow the evolution of the new production.
  6. Market Benchmarking: Compare internal production with market or competition data.

Your profile:

  1. Student in final year of Master and/or within an Engineering School with an orientation in Quantitative Finance, Statistics or Actuarial Science
  2. Holder of a university agreement covering the entire duration of the internship
  3. Interpersonal ease, good team spirit and a real desire to learn
  4. Enthusiastic, dynamic and demonstrating great discretion
  5. Mastery of the French and English language, knowledge of the Luxembourgish and/or German language is an advantage
