Role overview

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native) to play a key role in the evolution and delivery of our mobile products during an important phase of our innovation roadmap.

As a senior technical contributor, you will actively participate in mobile development while helping shape the mobile architecture, engineering standards and technical direction. You will also coach and guide external consultants, ensuring high quality delivery and alignment with our engineering practices.

This role works closely with Product, Design and other Engineering teams.

What you’ll be driving

Shape the mobile architecture
Contribute to the evolution of the mobile architecture (React Native), ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability and alignment with the broader technical ecosystem.

Deliver high-quality mobile products
Actively contribute to development and lead by example through high standards in code quality, testing practices, performance optimization and CI/CD processes.

Provide technical guidance to consultants
Collaborate with and mentor external mobile developers, providing technical direction, reviewing code and ensuring alignment with internal engineering standards and architecture.

Drive cross-functional collaboration
Work closely with Product and Design to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Collaborate with backend and other engineering teams to ensure architectural consistency.

Improve performance & reliability
Continuously monitor application performance, stability and user experience. Identify technical debt and contribute to improvement initiatives.

Promote engineering best practices
Contribute to the establishment and evolution of development practices, documentation standards, release processes and technical decision-making frameworks.

Contribute to innovation
Stay up to date with mobile trends, React Native ecosystem developments and platform changes (iOS / Android) to continuously enhance our mobile capabilities.

What you bring

Proven experience building high-quality mobile applications used at scale
Strong expertise in React Native and TypeScript, with several production deployments
Solid understanding of native mobile ecosystems (iOS & Android) and platform guidelines
Strong hands-on development skills with the ability to guide and mentor other developers
Experience collaborating with external consultants or distributed teams
Strong architectural and system design mindset
Experience working in cross-functional product environments alongside Product, Design and Backend teams
Good understanding of performance, monitoring and security best practices
Fluent in English
