Process Engineer

About the Job

We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in Luxembourg.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead quality activities within the Foundry department.
  • Identify and analyze process performance gaps in manufacturing quality, lead time, and cost of tire curing molds.
  • Define and implement new methods, projects, and ideas to reduce or close these performance gaps.
  • Propose, develop, and implement new technologies and capabilities.
  • Support production departments on existing technical installations.
  • Improve working conditions, focusing on environmental, ergonomic, and safety aspects.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement programs within the production department.


To Join Our Team You Will Need

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.


Languages:

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) and French and/or German is required.


Experience:

  • Equipment industrialization and/or process control.
  • Root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Project management.
  • CAD.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or IATF 16949) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is an asset.
  • Experience in managing multi-level projects and applying project management best practices (e.g., project charters, stakeholder and communication management, delivery tracking) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR) is an asset.
  • Programming of manufacturing equipment or macro programming (VBA, Python, etc.) is an asset.
  • Experience in metal additive manufacturing (3D printing) is an asset
  • Experience in metallurgy and particularly in aluminum casting is an asset


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM (preferably Catia V5; additional CAD tools are an asset).
  • Knowledge of metallic materials properties
  • Programming skills (e.g., VBA) are an asset.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a multicultural team.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
