Paperjam News is recruiting an « Business & Finance Journalist (m/f/x) with a strong interest in reporting and developing stories on Luxembourg's financial sector, economy and business community, in order to develop the Paperjam brand, both print and digital.

Responsibilities

• As a journalist you will write quality, original content in English and/or French for the print and digital editions of Paperjam ;
• The articles will focus on Luxembourg's financial sector, economy and business community ;
• You will also contribute to and help coordinate our daily newsletters and daily online input ;
• You will research and develop content that matches the specific requirements of Paperjam’s media channels and have the opportunity to moderate live events ;
• You will engage in social media management and monitor its performance.

Profile

• You hold university-level qualifications, ideally in journalism, communication, finance, business or economics and already have solid experience working as a journalist or writer ;
• You are a superb journalist with a proven ability to write, edit and conduct in-depth research and interviews ;
• You also have a solid understanding of digital communication, digital publishing and social media ;
• You are dynamic, always positive and have a strong ability to propose story ideas and sources, and creative, fresh ideas.
• You are a reliable source of proposals on how to innovate and improve the media brand ;
• You love to boost your team and help them to achieve their best ;
• You are able to adapt your writing style to suit different communication channels ;
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, can work independently and meet deadlines, and are highly organised ;
• You speak and write English and/or French at native level ; German and/or Luxembourgish would be considered an advantage.
