Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Realise prototyping of defined projects made by the Glass Competence Center (GCC)
• Develop new prototyping and validation tool process
• Manually assemble glass and tested Technologies and conduct Mechanical, electrical and optical measurements and   perform test (Accelerated ageing)
• Perform incoming control testing (chemicals, optical) and interpret results, create and present reports 
• Prepare shipping of prototypes, manage inventory of raw material and prototypes 
• Manage testing equipment for laboratory: climatic chambers, chemical analysis tools, optical systems, in terms  of planning, calibration, maintenance, consumables
• Follow-up test and measuring tools (Maintenance, calibration…)

This is what you bring to us: 

• Technical degree in Electronic, Electricity or Optic – understanding of chemical systems such as paints
• 3+ years of experience in R&D/Development lab, in Industry if possible
• Business fluent French and English is mandatory, German is a plus
• Flexibility, creativity and autonomous work
• Capacity to integrate with production operators and development scientists  
• Analytic approach
