Risk Management and Business Continuity Engineer

As part of its business development, Vinçotte Luxembourg is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Risk Management and Business Continuity Engineer (m/f)!
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help support our clients from a variety of sectors, including healthcare, petrochemicals, manufacturing, construction and/or services. Your role will be to strengthen their operational resilience and overall security through the following tasks:
About the role
- Conducting studies and assessments of risks related to the storage and use of hazardous substances;
- Identifying, assessing, analysing and mapping operational and strategic risks (operational, industrial, environmental risks, etc.);
- Carrying out physical security audits and proposing appropriate action plans;
- Developing documentation and plans for risk management, crisis management and business continuity management;
- Designing, organising and leading crisis exercises and simulations;
- Ensuring comprehensive project management: planning, coordination, monitoring and invoicing;
- Participating in the development of new services related to business continuity management.
What do we expect from you?
- You have a five-year degree in safety engineering, risk management, HSE, environment or equivalent;
- You have at least three years' experience in a similar position;
- You have a good knowledge of the legislation applicable in Luxembourg;
- You have a good knowledge of standards, benchmarks and methodologies relating to risk management and business continuity.
- Ideally, you have individual certification in the above-mentioned areas.
- You are fluent in French and German; Luxembourgish would be an additional asset.
- You have a good command of common IT tools;
- You are open-minded, organised and methodical;
- You have good writing skills.
