Head of Information Technologies/Chief Information Officer (m/f/n)

Your missions:

As Head of IT/CIO, you will be responsible for defining and steering the bank's IT strategy, guaranteeing the stability and security of the IT environment, and leading its digital transformation to sustainably support the performance, innovation, and evolution of the organization.


Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Manage the IT department consisting of approximately 400 professionals, including 250 internal employees as well as a significant number of external experts engaged for temporary missions
  2. Define and deploy the bank's overall IT strategy, covering infrastructure, applications, data, operational processes, enterprise architecture, and IT governance
  3. Represent the IT function to the Management Committee, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders (suppliers, auditors, regulators, etc.)
  4. Design and steer the strategic technological transformation, ensuring continuous improvement of IT quality, reliability, and production, as well as an increase in operational efficiency
  5. Lead digitalization, simplification, and automation initiatives for systems, processes, and procedures within the bank
  6. Ensure the development and implementation of scalable, efficient, and high-value-added IT solutions for internal and external clients
  7. Assume responsibility for protecting the bank against IT risks, cyber threats, data loss or leakage, and ensure the aggregation, monitoring, and reporting of IT risk data and indicators
  8. Collaborate closely with business lines and control functions, including the second line of defense, risk management, as well as legal and compliance departments, to ensure alignment between business and IT strategy
  9. Monitor market technological developments and promote training and awareness initiatives, contributing to the continuous strengthening of digital capabilities within the bank


Required qualifications:

  1. Holder of a Master's degree in a field of computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business administration
  2. Significant experience in high-level IT functions, with solid expertise in team management and steering large-scale technological transformations within financial institutions
  3. Mastery of French and English languages. Knowledge of the Luxembourgish language is an asset

The acquisition of these skills may, based on demonstrated learning predispositions, be carried out through the coaching and training proposed by the Bank during the job start and integration period.
