Why This Role Matters
This role is key in ensuring that our new products meet both local and international homologation and regulatory requirements. You will support the implementation of evolving regulations into internal processes and IT systems, helping the company stay compliant and efficient. As a representative of the company, you will collaborate with homologation authorities, market surveillance bodies, and industry associations, protecting the company’s reputation and ensuring product compliance across EMEA, APAC, and LA regions.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and implement regulatory and standard requirements, including UNECE, EC, and ETRTO, and assess their impact on processes and IT tools.
- Prepare and manage documentation required for government certification applications.
- Coordinate the collection of Conformity of Production (COP) data and liaise with certification bodies and market authorities.
- Provide regulatory guidance and advisory support to internal teams.
- Contribute to industry and trade association initiatives and standardization efforts.
- Manage tire test results necessary for product release and ensure compliance with regional regulations.
What You’ll Bring
- University degree in Engineering (Master’s in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering preferred).
- At least 4 years of engineering experience, ideally in the tire or automotive industry with exposure to product homologation.
- Strong knowledge of automotive regulations, standards, and homologation processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead projects in a global environment and adapt communication to diverse stakeholders.
- Accountability for results, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to advise others on regulatory strategy.
