Full-Stack Engineer (Data and Integration)
About Us
We are a leading mobility provider in Luxembourg, operating public transport, shuttles, and on-demand services across the region. Our Digital Factory shapes how we modernise our operations and create the tools that support thousands of daily journeys. The Foundry is our hands-on development unit where meaningful digital products are built with purpose and clarity.
About Our Digital Transformation
We are building a modern digital backbone that connects software engineering, data pipelines, and AI. Our ecosystem is anchored in Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, and the Power Platform. The Foundry works closely with the Data Foundation to create solutions that are fast to use, reliable in production, and scalable across countries as we grow. This transformation is about enabling our teams with systems that bring transparency, speed, and stability to everyday operations.
About Your Role
You will join The Foundry as a full-stack engineer with a strong focus on data engineering and system integration. Your work sits at the intersection of backend development, data pipelines, and the services that connect our business systems. You will build APIs, pipelines, and backend logic that move information across planning tools, IoT fleets, finance systems, and HR platforms. You will also contribute to application features when needed, working closely with our Data Architect, Data Scientist, Product Owners, and our senior Tech Lead who will be your engineering partner supporting you across projects.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy. Some days you will develop backend features, others you will refine ingestion logic or help streamline integration patterns used across the Digital Factory. You will be part of the team that keeps our digital products running smoothly and ready to scale.
You will not work alone. The Foundry collaborates every day with the Data Foundation, the Digital Hub, and the Transformation Delivery Office. We work as a team, sharing expertise and solving problems together. You don’t need to know everything on day one. We value learning, curiosity, and the willingness to explore new ideas.
About Your Responsibilities
You will design and maintain the pipelines that feed our Data Fabric and ensure data flows cleanly across systems. You will build backend services and integration modules that support our internal products and help improve reliability and performance. You will collaborate with our Data Architect and Tech Lead to align on patterns and contribute to the evolution of our development standards. You will take part in feature development within The Foundry whenever backend or integration logic is needed.
About You
You are a full-stack developer with a strong interest in data and backend engineering. You are proficient in .NET for backend development and comfortable using Python for data workflows or ingestion tasks when needed. You work confidently with SQL, and experience with additional technologies such as Java, Node.js or MongoDB is considered a plus. You can easily work in Azure environments and use Git, Visual Studio, or VS Code for daily development. You know how to design APIs, structure data flows, and build services that people can rely on. You are also open to contributing to front-end components when the team needs your help.
You may come from a fully Microsoft environment, or from ecosystems such as Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, Synapse, Java-based services, or other cloud platforms. What matters is your ability to understand how systems connect, design and implement APIs, architect microservices, and develop event-driven and batch processing workflows. You will build clean, reusable components and navigate a hybrid data-and-software environment with curiosity and initiative.
Success in This Role
Within your first year, you will have delivered pipelines and backend services that support key operational areas. You will have strengthened integration flows, reduced manual work, and created reusable components that help teams deliver faster. You will have contributed features that make our internal tools clearer and more reliable. Above all, you will have helped make our digital architecture more connected, stable, and ready to scale.
Why Join Us
You will join an innovative culture that values curiosity, clarity, and quality. You will collaborate with people who care about building tools that make work simpler for planners, drivers, mechanics, and frontline teams. Your work will give the Digital Factory the backbone it needs to scale and will influence how thousands of people move across Luxembourg and beyond. If you want a role where engineering meets purpose and where your ideas turn into real impact, we would be happy to meet you!
