Frontend Engineer
Role overview
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js) to strengthen our web engineering team and contribute to the evolution of our digital platforms.
In close collaboration with Product, Design and other Engineering teams, you will contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance web applications and play an active role in maintaining frontend quality, performance standards and technical consistency. This role requires strong autonomy, solid technical foundations and the ability to contribute beyond pure feature implementation.
What you’ll be driving
· Develop robust frontend features: Build and maintain web applications using React and Next.js, ensuring clean, maintainable and scalable code.
· Contribute to performance optimization: Support initiatives to improve page load times, SSR implementation and overall user experience across devices.
· Apply engineering best practices: Follow established frontend standards, testing strategies and code review processes to maintain high quality across the platform.
· Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into intuitive and reliable user interfaces.
· Contribute to the design system: Implement and reuse shared components, helping maintain consistency and scalability across the platform.
· Participate in continuous improvement: Identify technical debt and contribute to incremental improvements within the frontend ecosystem.
What you bring
· At least some years of experience in frontend development
· Solid experience with React
· Exposure to Next.js and server-side rendering concepts
· Experience with modern state management approaches (Context API, Redux, Zustand or similar)
· Experience working with TypeScript (or willingness to deepen expertise)
· Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or similar)
· Understanding of unit vs integration testing in frontend applications
· Understanding of responsive design and modern UX principles
· Understanding of Core Web Vitals and frontend performance best practices
· Experience working in collaborative product teams
· Ability to work autonomously while seeking feedback when needed
· Fluent in English
