As we grow in complexity and scale, our lean but essential finance function needs reinforcement. We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Operations Analyst as a permanent position to help keep our financial engine running efficiently and reliably — from processing daily transactions to helping improve our internal controls.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, is detail-oriented and actively engaged in daily execution, and is eager to contribute to the development of a finance function that supports strategic decision-making.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities contains but is not limited to:
- Monitor and manage the day-to-day flow of financial documents and data: incoming invoices, outgoing invoices, payment statuses, etc.
- Ensure timely recording, tracking, and reconciliation of supplier and client invoices in coordination with our accounting partner.
- Prepare and schedule payment batches through our banking platform.
- Keep track of client payments and initiate collection effort when past due.
- Maintain a clean and reliable record of financial operations through structured files and internal trackers (Excel and other tools).
- Support the month-end, year-end processes or other ad hoc requests by liaising with various stakeholders.
- Assist in building simple but robust reporting templates and dashboards for internal use (e.g. cash flow, spend by department).
- Participate in building financial analysis for the management
- Participate in the progressive structuring of our finance processes to ensure better traceability, control, and efficiency.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams when they need clarity or support related to finance operations.
YOUR PROFILE
Technical skills and education
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance operations, accounts payable/receivable, accounting, or financial administration.
- Good working knowledge of Excel (you love a clean, well-structured spreadsheet and are comfortable with formulas).
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Familiarity with banking platforms (Multiline) is a plus.
- Highly organised and rigorous; you can track dozens of moving parts without letting anything fall behind.
- Comfortable working in a fast-evolving environment with limited structure — and willing to help build that structure.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
What you’ll get
- A critical role in a nationally significant mission: defending Luxembourg’s digital infrastructure.
- The opportunity to co-design a modern finance function from the ground up.
- A flexible and friendly working environment
- Autonomy, ownership, and real impact from Day 1
- Training and development opportunities
Please note that a criminal record will be required as part of the final stage of our recruitment process.
We look forward to receiving your application and a letter explaining your interest in the position at the following email address: hrlux@incert.lu
