About the role:
 

Reports to: Group Head of Private Credit Fund Services

The purpose of this position is to lead the operations or client service team in Private Credit in Luxembourg.

In addition to being responsible for the day to day operational delivery of the team to clients, managing and growing that team to accommodate new business the role also has a focus on business development, product development, relationship management, providing industry Insights and contributing to the strategic direction of the product and the business.

This role forms part of a wider Executive team in Private Credit, working together across jurisdictions to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of Private Credit fund services for our clients and the Aztec Group business as a whole.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow Aztec Group’s Private Credit Fund Services, working with the Executive team to ensure that such growth is managed and sustainable

  • Support the monitoring of client satisfaction for Private Credit Fund and ensure a proactive approach is taken to any additional service opportunities or substandard service provision

  • Have an in depth understanding of our current product offering with the ability to opportunity spot and innovate . Engage with Private Credit clients to identify new areas of opportunity and future unmet needs, scanning the latest thinking and technology to identify how these could translate into opportunities for Aztec and its clients

  • Attend and participate at weekly and monthly product meetings and represent the product as various other management meetings contributing to the growth, development and transformation initiatives of the business

  • Participate in and at times lead in new client proposals and pitches as necessary, and manage the integration of new clients into the Group, project managing the onboarding from A-Z

  • Maintain and build Top Tier client relationships and act as a higher authority client contact in the event of any issues within the client teams or Aztec more broadly

  • Assist in the setting of clear team goals and objectives to create a market leading high performing team and individual performance. Managing and motivating the team to ensure delivery, accuracy, client satisfaction and efficiency.

  • Work closely with the Business Development Team to develop a network of meaningful contacts including larger prospects and influencers in order to grow Aztec’s Private Credit Fund business

  • Focus on building a solid pipeline of new business identifying larger opportunities not previously targeted by Aztec

  • Develop, gain consensus, project manage and implement strategic plans to achieve out-sized business growth 

  • Keep abreast of latest developments in the market in relation to core business and prospective service offerings and add to market insight publications, speaking engagements and panel discussions.

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

  • An expert background in Private Markets fund administration with a good working knowledge of Private Credit Fund Services.

  • Bringing a ‘top table’ established client network to propel Aztec’s product, understanding of competition and brand awareness.

  • Core operational experience including expert client management, problem solving and staff management abilities.

  • Detailed understanding of accounting and administration technicalities, with solid data and systems experience in the Private Markets arena.

  • Considerable practical experience, supported by a relevant professional qualification such as [ICSA/ACCA/ACA]

  • Sound technical professional services knowledge and experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts and evidence of full responsibility for major client relationship(s)

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced high growth environment

  • You will take a bright, consultative, Trusted Advisor approach with a focus on building strong client relationships
