Depositary Bank Agent - Transactions (m/f/n)

Your missions:

As a Depositary Bank Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the analysis and understanding of fund investments in private assets, as well as transactional tasks and maintaining the position register related to the mandates of the depositary bank for alternative funds.


Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Ensure the follow-up of depositary bank mandates for alternative funds
  2. Perform analysis of sometimes complex new investments of private asset funds in order to understand the holding structure up to the target investment
  3. Manage the accounting of private asset positions in the bank's tools
  4. Follow recurring transactions (capital calls) on certain positions
  5. Execute payments for new or recurring transactions in the bank's tools
  6. Verify at each transaction and on an annual basis that the alternative assets belong to the funds
  7. Produce "Position Statements" for bank confirmations for alternative funds in accordance with regulatory requirements
  8. Monitor and ensure compliance with obligations defined by the regulations on alternative funds
  9. Prepare reports for auditors and other stakeholders in accordance with authority requirements
  10. Ensure good communication with internal and external teams, including fund managers and auditors
  11. Provide the data necessary for the billing of depositary bank services to private asset investment fund clients


Required Qualifications:

  1. Holder of at least a Bachelor's degree with a banking/finance orientation
  2. Professional experience of at least 3 years in the field of institutional clients and depositary banking
  3. Mastery of French and English languages; knowledge of the Luxembourgish language is an advantage


Technical skills: The acquisition of these skills can, based on demonstrated learning predispositions, be carried out through coaching and training offered by the Bank during the start of the position and the integration period.

  1. Alternative fund regulations (e.g. AIFMD)
  2. Investment fund regulations (e.g. UCITS)
