Data Engineer (m/f/n)
Your missions:
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data pipelines necessary to feed the company's Data Warehouse. You will intervene across the entire data lifecycle: from ingestion from operational sources, to their transformation and modeling according to Spuerkeess standards, through to their availability for analytical and regulatory needs.
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Design and maintain robust data pipelines (batch and real-time) to feed data use cases
- Collect, integrate, and make data available from various internal and external sources, ensuring its freshness, reliability, and accessibility
- Orchestrate and optimize data flows to efficiently feed the various data zones
- Ensure the quality, reliability, and security of data throughout its lifecycle
- Implement modern data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Mesh…)
- Supervise the integration of data from multiple sources (internal and external) into Spuerkeess environments
- Lead data projects from end-to-end, from design to production, in connection with IT and business teams
- Manage the roadmap, deadlines, and coordination of data deliverables in an agile or DevOps logic
- Optimize the performance of flows and large-scale data processing systems
- Automate processes and data flows to optimize time-to-market and ensure the scalability and robustness of processing
- Provide regular reporting on progress and risks to management or the project sponsor
Required Qualifications:
- Holder of a Master's degree with an IT orientation, ideally with a specialization in business intelligence, data science, or data analysis
- Professional experience of 5 years in setting up Data Pipelines allowing the transport and processing of large volumes of data
- Professional experience in Data project management
- Mastery of French and English languages; knowledge of the Luxembourgish language is an advantage
