Business Implementation – Fund Accounting Specialist
Your day to day :
- Manage end-to-end fund events, including new fund/sub-fund creations, fund migrations (in/out), mergers, prospectus updates and liquidations.
- Act as a Fund Accounting Subject Matter Expert within the Business Implementation team.
- Oversee all operational Fund Accounting elements during event-driven projects (new launches, mergers, migrations, liquidations).
- Define and implement the target operating model and NAV production timeline in line with internal standards.
- Coordinate all Fund Accounting teams to ensure complete operational setup and readiness of cash and position flows.
- Work closely with transversal project stakeholders (Transfer Agency, Dealing Services, Depositary, Market & Financing Services) to address all dependencies impacting Fund Accounting.
- Maintain updated event pipelines, checklists and project plans with accurate and risk-mitigated information.
- Participate in regular client and counterparty meetings/calls as the Business Implementation representative.
- Organise and coordinate In/Out flow connectivity with clients or delegates, including IT testing phases.
- Ensure client understanding and signature of all Fund Accounting operational documentation during onboarding.
- Facilitate a smooth handover to BAU teams following each fund event.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing practical solutions and leading Post-Implementation Reviews when needed.
Your profile :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting operations or Business Implementation (non-IT role).
- Strong technical knowledge of Fund Accounting processes, especially fund event workflows (mergers, new fund launches, new share classes, etc.).
- Preferably experienced with Multifonds (MFFA).
- Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Skilled in developing, adapting and optimising operational processes.
- Capable of facilitating meetings, workshops or committees.
- Solid understanding of change management with a transversal perspective.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in a client-facing context.
- Strong teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate across functions.
- Results-driven, organised and detail-oriented.
- Active listening skills with a client-focused attitude.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English with very good command of French; additional languages considered an asset.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, diverse and value-driven team environment, with flexibility for hybrid work according to internal policies.
