

Bus Supervisor (Part Time)

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a:
Bus Supervisor for the Steinsel/Walferdange new bus route.
Permanent role, start on 19 January 2026
Part-time 7.5 hours/week (7.40-8.15am / 3.15-4.10pm)
Job Purpose:
To supervise students during school buses travel to/from School, managing their safety, wellbeing and behaviour.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise students on morning and afternoon school bus journeys, ensuring they board and disembark safely
- Liaise closely with the Reception Desk, bus drivers and academic staff, to ensure the students travel in the correct direction and are picked up by the authorised persons at bus stops
- Build positive and professional relationships with students of all ages
- Implement the school’s policies on board, such as behaviour policy, use of mobile phones, data protection, safeguarding, etc
- Maintain accurate attendance records of students on the bus and promptly report any changes or concerns to the Reception Desk
- Report behavioural, safety or operational issues to the appropriate staff member
- Act as a responsible adult representative of the school throughout the journey

- Ability to establish positive relationships with students and manage behaviour calmly and confidently
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and drivers
- Professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
- Will to use software and apps
