Big Data Administrator (m/f/n)

Your missions:

As a Big Data Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the administration, support, and evolution of the Spuerkeess Big Data platform. The role includes configuration, supervision of various services (HDFS, Hive, Kafka, Spark, etc.), monitoring, securing the environment, and producing technical documentation.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

1. Support the installation, configuration, and upgrades (or patches) of the Cloudera CDP tool installed on-premise
2. Activate and configure the various CDP services
3. Set up ad-hoc monitoring on CDP services in accordance with our IT production teams
4. Ensure the integration of the tool into our internal network (security, user identification, etc.)
5. Manage the HDFS, Kafka, Hive, Atlas, Impala, Nifi, Ranger, Spark, etc. components to ensure their availability to end users
6. Define governance on these different components in collaboration with the Data Architect and the concerned teams (AI, Data Science, and DWH)
7. Establish and keep up to date the technical documentation of CDP as well as the management procedures
8. Provide technical support to other IT services in their development activity involving the tool
9. Structure training and support plans for the different user populations
10. Intervene (second-line support) in the event of an incident affecting the tool
11. Structure and provide training plans allowing the application of governance and the correct use of the tool

Required Qualifications:

1. Holder of a Bachelor or Master with an IT orientation and a focus on database management and big data
2. Professional experience of 5 to 10 years as a BigData infrastructure manager (Cloudera - Unix)
3. Experience of 2 to 5 years in the use of CDP for DataWarehouse (or DataFabric) and/or the use of DataIku (DataScience)
4. Mastery of the French and English languages; knowledge of the Luxembourgish language constitutes an advantage

Technical skills:

The acquisition of these skills can, based on demonstrated learning predispositions, be achieved through the supervision and training offered by the Bank during the commencement of duties and the integration period.
