Storage and Linux Engineer

Vos missions

• Design, deploy and manage enterprise Storage infrastructures including Block, Object and File storage solutions, as well as SAN fabric environments
• Ensure high availability, performance and capacity optimization of Storage platforms through proactive monitoring, best practice compliance and continuous improvement
• Diagnoses and resolve storage-related issues, including hardware and software problems by participating in 3rd level support for incident management and request fulfilment
• Deploy and manage Linux-based infrastructure supporting storage platforms and associated services
• Willingness to work on shifts, support on-call duty (24x7) and conduct configuration changes outside of production times, with respective compensation

Votre profil

You need to hold a master’s degree, or else have acquired in the course of your career equivalent and duly recognized knowledge in the field and possess following competencies:

• A Minimum of 5 years supporting or building enterprise Storage infrastructures using Dell Technologies such as PowerMax, ObjectScale, PowerScale or any similar enterprise storage solutions
• Deep understanding of Storage Fiber Chanel protocols and Brocade SAN Fabric
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and system administration; relevant certification is a plus
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python and Ansible Configuration tool
• Focus and strong communications capabilities
• Have sharp analytical skills and be solution driven
