Tasks :

1. Ensure each file is reviewed accurately and on time by applying underwriting rules in a consistent and disciplined way
2. Take part in improving internal underwriting processes, controls and methodologies by sharing insights and working closely with colleagues
3. Handle underwriting cases within your authorized limits, evaluating risks and exposures to guarantee a high level of decision quality
4. Partner with the Group Life Reinsurance team and internal underwriters when dealing with more technical or sensitive files
5. Respect internal quality frameworks and contribute to maintaining strong compliance standards in both underwriting and reinsurance
6. Keep an eye on market practices and alert senior leaders when notable trends or competitor behaviours emerge
7. Participate in product discussions when underwriting expertise is required to shape design and features
8. Build solid partnerships with key distributors, representing the company’s image and helping generate profitable business growth

Profile :

1. A high level of English proficiency is essential, while knowledge of other languages is considered a plus
2. Brings over five years of experience in life underwriting or a closely related discipline
3. Solid grasp of underwriting concepts, processes, and assurance requirements within the life sector
4. Strong ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally
5. Demonstrates precision, thoroughness, and strong analytical capabilities
6. Possesses a client-oriented mindset and can develop positive and productive relationships inside and outside the organization
7. Confident using digital tools, particularly Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
8. Able to prioritize tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and remain flexible when priorities shift
9. Works well with others and approaches challenges with a constructive, solution‑oriented attitude
