Operations Analyst

Your day to day

1. Manage end-to-end securities transactions, ensuring timely confirmation, matching and settlement
2. Monitor settlement activity, investigate breaks and resolve discrepancies with custodians, brokers and counterparties
3. Process and oversee corporate actions (mandatory and voluntary), including event validation, client elections, entitlements and reconciliations
4. Manage cash operations: payments, reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, funding and reporting
5. Support credit operations across the loan lifecycle (setup, monitoring, amendments and reporting)
6. Ensure full compliance with regulatory, audit and internal control requirements
7. Maintain accurate records and contribute to regulatory and operational reporting
8. Liaise with front office, client services and internal stakeholders to support daily operations
9. Identify operational risks, escalate issues when required and contribute to process optimization
10. Participate in system enhancements, UAT testing and project initiatives

Your profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in financial operations (securities, corporate actions, cash or credit)
3. Strong understanding of financial markets and operational processes
4. Solid knowledge of regulatory and control frameworks
5. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
6. Organized, rigorous and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset
7. Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
8. Comfortable with computer-based tools and operational systems
9. Fluent in English; Portuguese is an advantage
