The experts at AIS and AManco provide clients with: Corporate Services, Fund Administration Services, Governance Services, Operational AML & Compliance Services, Tax Compliance Services, Depositary Services, as well as Third Party AIFM Services (provided by AManco S.A.).
Given the ongoing development of AIS, we are currently recruiting:
Junior Officer – GDPR & Legal Support
Your role:
Within our Compliance department (Data & Regulatory):
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating regulatory requirements within legal agreements with third parties (e.g., service agreements, DPAs, etc.), and any other legal documents;
Providing legal and regulatory advice to senior management and other internal departments (both support and client-facing), notably on relevant CSSF Circulars, GDPR, AI Act;
Monitoring and reviewing new laws, regulations and market practices which may impact the business;
Contributing to the implementation and monitoring of controls, procedures and policies aligned with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
Liaising with third parties such as lawyers, the CSSF, local authorities, etc.
Preparing documentation for internal regulatory committees / bodies to ensure alignment with applicable governance requirements;
Working on specific client files when necessary;
Conducting assessments and analysis of outsourced services and solutions in the regulatory framework (specifically CSSF Circular 22/806, as amended)
Monitoring of existing outsourced services;
Participate in the ongoing implementation of the data privacy matters (GDPR), professional secrecy, outsourcing and to various risk, compliance and other projects;
Supporting the Data Protection Officer of the company;
Assisting with the update of regulatory required documentation (e.g., GDPR Register of Processing Activities, Outsourcing Register, retention schedules, etc.).
Your profile:
You have a University degree in law, preferably including an LL.M.;
You have ideally a first experience working on regulatory, GDPR or Data Protection matter or in a similar position;
You understand the legal and regulatory systems and are able to interpret, clarify and articulate legal and regulatory concepts;
You are fluent in English; any other language is considered as an asset;
You are well organized, rigorous, have very good communication skills, and you are a good team worker;
You are dynamic and proactive.
