What will you do?
The role purpose is to support day-to-day operations of network security controls (perimeter, remote access, and cloud network security) by implementing approved changes, maintaining security platforms, and assisting troubleshooting.
Perimeter Security & Firewalls
Implement approved changes on firewalls (rules, NAT, objects) under change management.
Support firewall hygiene activities (rule review support, cleanup, basic validation and post-change checks).
Assist with troubleshooting perimeter security issues and escalate to senior engineers when required.
Remote Access & VPN
Support remote access services (e.g., GlobalProtect) and troubleshoot common user connectivity issues.
Support site-to-site VPN operations (tunnel monitoring, basic troubleshooting, change implementation).
Web Application Firewall
Support WAF operations (policy updates, logging checks, troubleshooting) in coordination with application owners.
Cloud Network Security
Support cloud networking/security operations (e.g., Azure networking constructs and Azure firewall policies) under established standards and change control.
Vulnerability & Hardening Follow-up
Support vulnerability scanning operations coordination (scope validation, scheduling, basic troubleshooting).
Track and support remediation actions for network/security findings (patch/firmware updates planning support, retest coordination, validation of fixes).
This offer is for you if:
Early-career professional in network/security operations, infrastructure support, ideally with 1–3 years' experience in an enterprise environment, or relevant internships/apprenticeships.
Comfortable working in a ticket-driven environment
Active team player, with good communication skills, able to coordinate issues resolution with other team members and escalate clearly and promptly.
Proactive and reliable: takes ownership of assigned tasks, follows through, and contributes to continuous improvement.
Professional fluency in French and English.
Technical Skills (Required / Preferred)
Required
Fundamentals of networking (TCP/IP, routing basics, DNS, HTTP/S).
Basic understanding of firewall/VPN concepts (rule bases, NAT, authentication, least privilege).
Operational discipline: change execution, rollback awareness, evidence-based troubleshooting.
Nice to Have
Exposure to multiple firewall technologies, SSL VPN, PKI/certificates, WAF, and vulnerability management.
Familiarity with the Microsoft security ecosystem (e.g., Defender / M365), ITIL best practices, and common security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) will be appreciated.
