Java/Angular/AWS CDK - developer

Description of the Tasks

• Design and develop CICD pipelines, IAC

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems

• Data analysis and data modelling

• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture

• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers

• Production of software architecture documents

• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with the users

• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting

• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture

• Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud

• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components

• Development and enhancement of architecture

• Assistance with the implementation of the architecture

• Analysis of information systems portfolio

• Analysis of enterprise business processes

• Corporate Data flow analysis

• Define back-end and front-end development guidelines (how to build a service, how to integration with other applications, …)

• Architecture and design of information systems

• Review of the architecture of existing systems

• Design and development of component architecture and building blocks

• Development and maintenance of information systems (both back end and front end)

• Development and integration of technological components

• Data analysis and data modelling

• Implementation of the technical architecture

• Production of software architecture documents and technical documentation

• Installation, deployment, and configuration of information systems

• Follow-up of incidents related to information systems (3rd level support)

• Follow-up of bug reports

• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with the users

• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting

• Coaching of more junior architects and developers. Review of the work done by others, critical assessment, recommendations, and follow-up of those recommendations

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of Wildfly, Postgres, docker

• Bash, webservices SOAP and REST, spring boot

• Back-end: Knowledge of Java, python

• Front-end: Angular

• DevOps: AWS CDK and other Amazon services such as S3, IAM, cloudfront, ECR, EFS, RDS, CodeBuild, Code Pipeline, CodeCommit...

• Ability to give business and technical presentations

• Ability to apply high quality standards

• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies

• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences

• Analysis and problem-solving skills

• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents

• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills

Non-Technical Skills

• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in a team

• High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in MARE E3 contain personal and confidential data

Specific Expertise

• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Angular

• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Java

• At least 2 years of experience in AWS CDK

Certifications & Standards

• AWS Architect or Developer certification is a plus
