Investment Funds | German Lawyers – 1 to 6 years’ experience

Our Investment Funds team is expanding its presence in the German market through its German Desk (composed of 4 people), and we are currently looking for German-speaking lawyers specialised in Investment Funds at different levels of seniority. Whether you are a junior or an experienced lawyer, our growing team offers several exciting opportunities.

Your responsibilities (depending on your level of expertise)

1. You will work closely within a team of dynamic legal experts, led by a Senior Associate or Counsel, advising clients on a broad range of investment fund structures and strategies, with regular exposure to German-speaking clients.
2. You will draft and review legal documentation relating to various types of investments funds.
3. You will prepare and review contracts related to investment funds activities, assess existing policies, and contribute to the drafting of new policies and other documents.
4. You will review documentation relating to financial products under Luxembourg law.
5. You will liaise with Luxembourg authorities and regulators on all legal matters.
6. You will collaborate closely with other practice groups and CMS offices, becoming a trusted partner to our clients.
7. You will actively contribute to Business Development initiatives, including internal and external events, with the possibility of business trips to meet clients and prospects, and promote the German Desk.

Your profile

1. You hold a Master’s degree in law.
2. You have between 1 and 6 years’ experience in a Luxembourg law firm, in the field of investment funds.
3. You are bilingual in German and fluent in spoken and written English; French will be considered a strong asset.
4. You demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and initiative, combined with excellent organisational skills.
5. You are confident, professional and enjoy working in a multicultural and international environment.
6. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. You have a strong attention to detail and proactively suggest improvements.
