Finance Manager F/M - Private Equity - LU873651
For one of our clients, we are looking for a Finance Manager (F/M), a Private Equity firm, who will take ownership of the finance, accounting, and back-office functions.
Key responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Central Administration, the Transfer Agent, AIFM, Depositary, tax advisors, and auditors. Supervise their deliverables and ensure consistently high-quality output.
- Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements (Lux GAAP / IFRS), guaranteeing accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Lead and coordinate the annual audit process. Oversee VAT and corporate tax filings and maintain strong working relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
- Monitor liquidity, ensure correct intercompany invoicing, manage payment cycles, and supervise capital call and equalisation procedures.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost monitoring while providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure efficient execution of back-office processes, regulatory compliance, and continuous enhancement of internal controls.
- Supervise financial controlling activities, including expense review, cost allocation monitoring, and ensuring efficient use of company resources.
- Oversee the preparation of investor communications, quarterly fund updates, and financial information for fundraising and investor due diligence processes.
Profile :
- At least 8 years of experience as Financial Controller or Financial Accoutant
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional certifications such as ACCA or ICA are required; CPA and/or CFA qualifications are considered an asset.
- Solid knowledge of the Private Equity industry.
- Significant experience gained both within a service provider and in an in-house or boutique environment.
- Fluency in English is essential; French is an advantage.
