Facilities Maintenance Coordinator
Permanent contract (F/M)
As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational aspects of our organization's physical facilities. This position is essential in ensuring that facilities are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. You will oversee the execution of maintenance planning, repairs and routine upkeep while managing relationships with external contractors and sublease tenants. You will provide guidance to maintenance companies on clearly defined objectives.
In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient and productive work environment that support business success and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate external contractors for maintenance and repair services
Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and strategies
Participate in budget planning, monitor and control expenses
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services
Conduct regular inspections and quality audits
Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility related incidents
Manage relationship with sublease tenants
Contribute to specific projects and continuous improvement initiatives in relation with our building
Requirements and skills
You must have
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or related fields
Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment (a.o. HVAC and electrical)
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Experience with budget planning and cost control
Full professional proficiency in French and English
