How will you contribute?
The Warehouse officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of the warehouse and stock areas both for research units and corporate services. They carry out reception, storage, preparation, and distribution of goods and materials, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with HSE rules. Working with autonomy under limited supervision, they contribute to the smooth functioning of logistics flows, and support colleagues with operational needs.
You will be mainly in charge of:
Works with autonomy under limited supervision on routine operational warehouse tasks.
Receives, checks, and records deliveries of goods and materials (chemicals, consumables, technical equipment).
Stores items in compliance with procedures, safety standards, and storage conditions.
Prepares orders to internal clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintains inventory accuracy through regular stock controls and database updates.
Manages inventory levels, flags shortages, and supports replenishment.
Ensures proper labelling, traceability, and compliance with HSE and regulatory requirements.
Uses IT tools (ERP, warehouse software via MS Office) for stock management and reporting.
Communicates with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments in a professional and diplomatic manner.
Contributes to maintaining warehouse order, cleanliness, and compliance with security standards.
Respects and applies LIST-HSE rules. Alerts of potential dangers or risks. Takes care of their own safety and that of others.
Contribute to the weekly multi-site organization (Belval / Bascharage)

Education
Technical or vocational qualification with 2–3 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience.
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control methods, and delivery procedures.
Experience in shipping/receiving, order preparation, and stock tracking.
Experience and skills
Ability to work methodically, organise workload, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office package and warehouse/ERP tools.
Good knowledge of internal processes related to stock management and client deliveries.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Good time-management and organisational skills.
Strong client and service orientation.
Language skills
Fluency in English (and French), both oral and written. Other relevant languages are considered to be an asset.
