Consultant Expert Murex

Your Day-to-Day

• Contribute to the support, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Murex financial system within the financial applications team.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and Risk Management teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Murex modules, with strong involvement in Front Office, Reporting, and Onyx/MxTest components.
• Lead and execute non-regression test campaigns using MxTest to ensure solution quality and system stability.
• Design and maintain financial reports including DataMart, P&L, Market Value, and Risk figures.
• Manage dynamic tables, simulation views, and trade queries for data analysis and reporting.
• Oversee the full trade life cycle and ensure proper integration of financial instruments within the system.
• Produce clear documentation of business requirements, technical configurations, and implemented solutions.

Your Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience working with the Murex financial system within a banking or financial institution.
• Strong functional knowledge of:
• Fixed Income
• Money Markets
• Interest Rate Swaps
• Cross Currency Swaps
• FX Derivatives
• Proven expertise in:
• Front Office module – configuration, simulation, and trade life cycle
• Reporting / DataMart – design and optimization
• Onyx / MxTest – implementation and test management
• Good understanding of front-to-back processes and interaction between business and technical teams.
• Highly reliable, accurate, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and autonomous, able to deliver within deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
