Conducting Officer Compliance
Edward Mount is working with a leading Management Company in the search for a Conducting Officer for Compliance.
You will ensure the company’s full compliance with Luxembourg regulatory requirements and CSSF circulars, and act as a strategic advisor to the BoD and Senior Management on compliance and governance matters.
Responsibilities
- Act as RC (“Responsable du Contrôle”) for the Company and for funds under management.
- Be responsible for implementing the Compliance Risk Management framework.
- Review and approve new products, services, and significant client contracts from a compliance perspective.
- Properly handle all compliance incidents, breaches, and client complaints.
- Be the liaison with the CSSF and other regulatory authorities, ensuring transparent and proactive communication.
- Manage all regulatory reporting, notifications, and ad-hoc requests.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the compliance team.
- Be the point of contact for internal and external auditors.
Requirements
- A minimum of 9 years of compliance exposure with a local Management Company.
- Excellent knowledge of the Luxembourgish regulatory environment (UCITS, AIFMD, GDPR, MIFID II, AML, etc.).
- Have the ability to motivate colleagues and support the embedding of a positive compliance management culture.
- Effectively delegate roles, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
